
Piazza Foro Traiano is an archaeological complex in the center of Rome. It is situated between the Colosseum and the Roman Forum and it was originally created by the emperor Trajan in 114 AC in order to commemorate the conquests of the Roman Empire. It is made up of a small elliptical square, Augustus' Temple, a base that Trajan built to go into the Temple of Jupiter and a Universal Forum. It is one of the most picturesque sites in Rome and it is worth visiting while visiting the Eternal City. Here you can see the sculptures of the Emperors of Rome, a great number of distinguished columns, and a robust obelisk in the center created by Trajan. The beauty of the site is enhanced by its superb lighting which allows visitors to take beautiful pictures at any time of the day or night.
