Piazza delle Erbe is a historic square in Padova, Italy. Located in the centre of the city, it is surrounded by some of Padova's most important architectural landmarks. At its centre stands a large fountain, which is known as the Fountain of the Signori and is adorned with a bronze statue of the god Neptune. In the past, Piazza delle Erbe has been used as a marketplace, but today it is home to many bars, cafés and restaurants. The square is a popular meeting spot amongst locals and is a great place to people-watch from one of the outdoor tables. The architecture of the square and its surrounding buildings makes for an impressive sight and is sure to be enjoyed by any visitor.
