Phupha Waree is a floating accommodation on Cheow Lan Lake in Khao Phang, within Surat Thani’s Khao Sok landscape. Its setting reflects the reservoir’s distinctive geography: calm green water enclosed by steep, forested limestone hills. Rows of raft houses create strong horizontal lines against the rugged karst skyline, while still conditions produce clear reflections; low cloud and mist can soften the cliffs into layered silhouettes. Access is by boat, reinforcing the sense of distance from the mainland.
