The Phare Le Touquet, located along the coast of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, is one of the most iconic landmarks in northern France. Built in 1864, it stands 60 metres tall and can be seen from miles away, both day and night. It serves as a lighthouse as well as a symbol and reminder of the area's rich history. It was also featured in Alfred Hitchcock's first full-length feature film The Ring. It is definitely worth a visit while exploring the region, as its unique architecture and incredible views of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage and the surrounding coastline make it an unforgettable experience. There are several paths leading to the top of the lighthouse, so it is easy for visitors to explore. The surrounding area is a great spot for a walk - relax while strolling along the beaches and take in the incredible views of the English Channel.
