The Phare de la Madonetta is a breathtakingly beautiful lighthouse located in Bonifacio, France, at the southernmost tip of the island of Corsica. The Phare de la Madonetta stands atop a cliff, standing tall with three distinct levels. The second and third levels are both constructed from terracotta, creating a warm and inviting feel. Be sure to catch a glimpse of the old-fashioned lantern mounted atop, that was lit with oil until the lighthouse was converted to electric lighting in 1955.
