📍 From Paracelsus Bad, Austria
Pfarrkirche Mülln, dedicated to the Assumption of Mary, rises above Salzburg’s historic Mülln district at the northern edge of the Mönchsberg. Its late-Gothic structure, later enriched with Baroque elements, is distinguished by a slender tower and onion-shaped dome that punctuate the city’s western skyline. From across the Salzach, the church appears layered above old rooftops and the wooded hillside, while closer views reveal pale masonry, steep roofs, and the compact urban fabric surrounding the adjoining former Augustinian monastery, now closely associated with Salzburg’s Augustiner Bräu.
