The Petronas Towers (also known as the Petronas Twin Towers) are an iconic symbol of Malaysia and the city of Kuala Lumpur. Located in the heart of the financial district, these twin skyscrapers reach a height of 88 floors making them the tallest twin towers in the world and the tallest buildings in all of Southeast Asia. Built in the iconic postmodern style, the towers are connected at the 41st and 42nd floor sky bridge, taking visitors 269m in the air.

The Petronas Towers were originally planned in 1993 and were completed 5 years later, in 1998. They boast a unique Islamic architecture, featuring traditional motifs and patterned walls. Visitors can explore the towers from the sky bridge, the Petronas Towers' observation deck and its shopping centre. The Petronas Towers can be seen from up close at their plaza, as well as from afar. Aside from the view and photo opportunities, the plaza also hosts occasional events and activities, such as live musical performances and art exhibitions.
