The Petite Cascade de Tendon is a small, tiered waterfall on the Tendon stream in the wooded valley around the village of Tendon in the Vosges (Grand Est) region of France. It sits within a compact riparian gorge frequented by local walking trails and is one of two nearby cascades that break the stream's descent. The drop is intimate rather than grand, with stepped flows over dark bedrock, moss-covered boulders and a shallow plunge pool framed by beech and conifer slopes. Photographically it rewards close compositions: foreground rocks and ferns add scale, slow-shutter silhouettes render the water as silk, and seasonal color or winter ice accentuates texture and contrast. Access follows forest paths from the village; basic trail etiquette applies.
