Pérgolas de la Victoria, also known as Paseo de Sancha, is a great place to explore Málaga's historical centre. Located in the heart of the city next to the Roman Theater, this area dates back to Roman times. The current layout of the space was created in 1833 to bring a greater sense of order and romanticism to the area. Within its ancient vineyards, pergolas and arches, this place is a popular hangout for tourists and locals alike. During spring and summer, the most striking feature of Pérgolas de la Victoria is its gardens, which are decorated with centuries-old statues and fountains. It is a great spot for strolling and admiring the views of the Mediterranean. The nearby Teatro Romano is also a great attraction, where archaeological remains, with more than 2000 years of history, can be seen. There's no better place to get a feel for Málaga's rich culture!
