Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber is a neolithic funeral monument situated in the Preseli Hills of Pembrokeshire, United Kingdom. It is one of the most important prehistoric monuments in Wales, dating back to 3000 - 2000 BCE. This chamber is a large stone structure with a single trilithon (triangle of two vertical stones with a lintel) at the centre of the site. This burial chamber has been described by some as 'as the most perfect and finest example of a dolmen in Britain'. The magnificent view from the site overlooks the surrounding prehistoric locations in the Pembrokeshire Hills, making it very popular with hikers, historians, and tourists alike. The monument is located in a peaceful area and easy to access. A nearby visitors center provides information on the area and its past.
