Penha is the ornate yellow landmark at the western end of Handelskade in Punda, beside the landing of Willemstad’s Queen Emma floating bridge. Now associated with the long-established Penha fragrance and cosmetics store, the building is distinguished by its curving Dutch colonial gables, white ornamental trim, and prominent corner position within Willemstad’s UNESCO-listed historic center. Its saturated façade provides a recognizable foreground for views across Sint Anna Bay, while wider compositions can include the pontoon bridge, passing harbor traffic, and the pastel waterfront buildings that define Curaçao’s capital.
