Pencil Pine Falls, located in Cradle Mountain, Tasmania, Australia, is one of the most picturesque waterfalls in the region. It is a 60 meters (196 feet) tall waterfall that flows from Dove Lake into Lake St. Clair. The safest way to see and photograph the falls is from the path located at the foot of Mount Campbell, although there are other viewpoints from other roads and in-road pull-offs. It is a popular spot for photographers and travelers, with an abundance of wildlife inhabiting the area. A wide variety of native flora and fauna can be spotted, including tree ferns, wallabies, wombats, echidnas, and parrots. To explore the surrounding area and take in all the great scenery, there are a number of walking trails and bike tracks available to walkers and cyclists. Many of the paths offer stunning views of sensational panoramas, while also providing access to unique vantages of the waterfall itself.
