The Peace Bridge is a spectacular public bridge in Calgary, Alberta, that connects the city's downtown and cycle path networks. It was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2012. The bridge spans the Bow River, providing amazing views of the skyline, river and iconic Calgary Tower. The bridge is a truly unique architectural masterpiece and designed to last for centuries. Its design comprises two slender white curved steel bows with a spectacular glass pathway suspended between them. In the evening, the bridge is beautifully illuminated in different colors. The bridge also features a network of lights in the center of the pathway, providing a unique and majestic view in the evening. This pedestrian passage is a favorite spot to watch the sunset or sunrise. It is especially popular among cyclists who use it to cross the river along the scenic riverside paths. The bridge is also a great place to get a unique perspective of the city skyline. Enjoy your visit!
