Paulus Church, or Pauluskirche, is a beautiful neo-Gothic church found in Badenweiler, Germany. Built between 1865-1867 and modeled after Cologne Cathedral, the Paulus Church is a striking red brick building adorned with a striking granite spire rising up to 70 meters into the sky. Inside the church, visitors will find a beautiful interior featuring detailed frescoes, mosaics and stained glass windows. The church also features a 139-bell carillon which is played on the hour from 8am-8pm. Both locals and tourists make their way to the church, not only to explore its exquisite architecture, but to take part in the regular Sunday services. Paulus Church is one of the main cultural and religious sites in Badenweiler and a sight not to be missed!
