Passo Giau, situated in San Vito di Cadore, Italy, is double mountain pass at an elevation of 2,236 metres (7,336 ft). Linking the provinces of Belluno and Bolzano, this alpine pass is a popular tourist destination, especially during the autumn season.
Visitors can take a short and easy 2 hour hike to the summit of this pass and marvel at the beautiful landscape that surrounds it. Taking a turn towards the east of the Passo Giau, visitors can see the East side of the Church, which is at an elevation of 2,105 metres (6,903 ft), providing a spactucular view of the village and its surroundings. The pass allows visitors to enjoy many outdoor activities such as mountain biking, horseback riding, skiing, and yes, photography. Nature lovers can also take in the scenery of this mountain pass and be mesmerized by the beauty of the Italian Dolomites.
