Passatge Madoz is a small passage located in the heart of Barcelona, Spain full of color, history and family-run shops. It consists of a two-block pedestrian walkway running perpendicular to the busy Gran de Gràcia Avenue. Although this place doesn’t attract much attention from the tourists, it is often frequented by locals who visit the traditional retaurants, butchers, and other artisan stores that line the passageway.
The walkway is picturesque, with a painted tiles mural that runs along the walls with historical monuments from throughout Spain. There are old wooden beams and arches connecting the buildings, as well as small balconies and windows that are decorated with colorful tiles, making it a great place to explore and take photos of.
