Passanten is a public sculpture in the centre of Geldermalsen whose title—Dutch for "passersby"—frames it as a reflection on movement and everyday exchange in a small Dutch town. Sited in a pedestrianized civic space, the work responds to the rhythms of commuters, shoppers and cyclists and reads as part of the town’s urban fabric rather than an isolated monument.
