Parroquia Santa Maria de la Antigua

Parroquia Santa Maria de la Antigua is one of the oldest churches in Valladolid, Spain. Located in the heart of the old city, it was built in the 1500s by Martin Fernandez. It has a stunning Renaissance facade, adorned with imposing pinnacles and hundreds of small figures - depicting the life of Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Inside, the church has gorgeous carved ceilings with murals, as well as a high altar covered with intricate designs. The church also houses a museum that contains religious works from the sixteenth century up until the present day.
