The Church of the Annunciation, in the small Spanish town of Rello, is an impressive example of the Gothic style that dominated the region in the XIV-XVI centuries. Built on the site of an old Romanesque church, it stands out for its beautiful Renaissance facade and its double arched door, flanked by two towers and a spire. Inside you can admire the nave and its high vaults with mullioned windows, as well as a magnificent coffered ceiling made of chestnut wood and the beautiful Gothic choir. The church also contains a sacred art museum with numerous sculptures and paintings from the Renaissance and Baroque period. One of the most interesting pieces in the museum is the altarpiece of San Ildefonso, a masterpiece of the Renaissance era. The museum also offers guided tours with information about the church's history and art.
