Park Güell is a public garden complex in the picturesque Gracia district of Barcelona, Spain. The park was the brainchild of the Catalan modernista architect Antoni Gaudi and includes some of his most ambitious and aesthetically impressive works. This is one of the city's must-see attractions, a place of lush gardens, stunning views, and memorable architecture. Built between 1900 and 1914, the park's monumental zone was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984. Featuring mosaics of ceramic tile and shaped stone, Park Güell is the perfect place to explore Gaudi's iconic architectural style. There are various winding paths, benches and sculptures around a large terrace offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. The Gaudí House Museum within the park provides an insight into the life and work of this remarkable architect.
