Parisi Udvar is a neo-baroque style shopping center located in the heart of Budapest, Hungary. Built as part of the "Lipotvaros Project" in the 19th century, the building features a symmetrical two-wing structure. One its wings contains two stories of arcades and the other wing was built with two stories of semi-circular galleries, which are connected by a central atrium. Line with columns and a dome, Parisi Udvar is today home to many restaurants and shops, and still offers some of the best views of the Neoclassical architecture of Budapest. It has two gates shaped in the form of the historic cityscape of the city. Here, you will find speciality shops, eateries and galleries that have been created to attract both local people and tourists. When exploring this iconic building, be sure to take a look in the small arcades on the ground and first floors where you can find interesting artifacts and antiques.
