Parco Archeologico Ercolano is the archaeological park set on the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Herculaneum, located in Ercolano, Italy. It is renowned for being preserved in remarkable condition and buried in ash during the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. Visitors to the park can wander through excavated areas, ruined buildings and structures, and view artifacts and artifacts that were preserved by the lava flow. Visitors can also visit the old Sanctuary of Monte Nuovo and the Oplonti Villa known as the Villa of Poppaea, the second wife of Nero, as well as other Roman artifacts.
