Loutraki Beach forms the long, pebbled waterfront of Loutraki, a spa town on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Corinth, about an hour west of Athens. The beach runs directly beside the town’s promenade, linking cafés, hotels and everyday seaside life with wide views across the gulf. Loutraki’s identity is closely tied to its mineral springs, while the Geraneia Mountains rising behind the urban strip give the coast a distinctive mountain-and-sea setting. The beach is especially recognizable in evening light, when its west-facing outlook captures warm color over the water and silhouettes the rugged coastline across the gulf; wet pebbles and the calm surface can add strong reflections and texture to shoreline images.
