The Panoramic Elevator of the Pfaffenthal is a unique lift located in the city of Luxembourg, Luxembourg. It was originally built as a funicular which would travel up and down a hill, connecting two points of the city. In recent years it was re-engineered to an elevator, offering visitors an impressive view of the historic cityscape. The elevator, enclosed in glass and easily visible from the outside, provides a great opportunity to take in the sights while travelling up and down. From the top it is possible to enjoy both the city and the countryside, with a nice view of the majestic Moselle River. The elevator is free to use and offers a great way to enjoy some of Luxembourg's most popular sites and attractions. Visitors should bring a camera to capture stunning views, as well as a snack for a break on the terrace next to the elevator, with special local food and drinks.
