Panchina degli Innamorati (The Lovers’ Bench) is an iconic sculpture in Turin, located on the edge of the Po river banks. It was created in 2002 by sculptor Davide Dormino, and was made to commemorate two journalists, Emanuele Ruspagliosi and Hilde Jansen, who were in love. It features two oversized chairs side by side, carved out of the trunk of an oak tree. The sculpture symbolizes their commitment to each other, and is a popular spot for couples to take photos. Be sure to visit at dusk to take in the views of the river and the city - you'll be sure to take some amazing shots!
