The Palm House Garden (Palmenhaus) in Vienna is a magnificent Vasari-style 1882 architecture - the oldest and largest glass greenhouse in Austria - and is filled with thousands of exotic plants from around the world. Tourists can explore between three sections - a tropical garden, a desert garden, and a temperate garden. The tropical section has various palms, banana trees, and other lush plants while the desert section features cacti and other succulents. The temperate section holds wild roses, seasonal flowers, and various trees. Besides the plants, visitors can also observe beehives, banyan trees, and a collection of species of wild parrots. The admission is very affordable and the scenery is both peaceful and overwhelming. Definitely worth a visit if you travel to Vienna!
