
Palazzo Reale, or the Royal Palace of Turin, is a beautiful, historic palace located in the heart of Turin in northern Italy. Built in the mid-17th century on the River Po, it is one of the most significant buildings in the city and a popular tourist attraction. Inside, visitors will find grand and opulent rooms, which are filled with 17th-century furnishings and artwork depicting Italy’s royal past. Highlights include the palace’s Royal Apartments, the Sala del Trono, the Piedmont Hall, and the Chapel of the Shroud, which houses a replica of the Shroud of Turin. The Queen’s Garden, located in the back, provides a serene spot for a peaceful stroll amongst the lush plants and trees.
