Palazzo Manzoni-Ansidei già Aureli is a historic noble residence on Piazza Morlacchi in Perugia’s upper historic centre, close to the cathedral and on the same square as Teatro Morlacchi. Its changing name reflects successive family ownership, while its present use by the University of Perugia connects the aristocratic building with the city’s long academic life. The orderly multi-storey façade, rhythmic windows and prominent stone entrance stand out against the tighter medieval street pattern nearby; photographed across the square, the palace reads as a complete urban elevation rather than an isolated monument.
