Palazzo Guarnieri overlooks Piazza Maggiore, the civic heart of Feltre’s hilltop historic center in the province of Belluno. Designed in the nineteenth century by Giuseppe Segusini, it introduces Gothic Revival architecture into a square shaped by the town’s Renaissance past. Pointed-arch windows, elaborate ornament and the contrast of warm reddish surfaces with pale stone make its façade distinctive. Wider views place these decorative details alongside the piazza’s older civic buildings and the church of San Rocco.
