Palazzo Gaudenzi, situated in the historical center of Bologna, is a beautiful example of 18th-Century architecture. It was designed by Giuseppe Tubertini, a Palladian style architect, for his patron Count Gaudenzi. The central block of the palace is constructed of exposed brick, with a large balcony at the upper level framing a magnificent view of the city. The design includes a grand staircase which leads to the apartments inside. The cypress-lined courtyard is a special feature of the palace, with its fountain and a terrace overlooking the surrounding area - perfect for a peaceful afternoon stroll. As the home of Count Gaudenzi, it once opened its doors to famous intellectuals and aristocrats of the time. This historic palace remains a beautiful landmark in Bologna today.
