
Palazzo Fantuzzi is a striking 16th-century palace located in the city of Bologna, Italy. The magnificient palace was constructed by the Fantuzzi family, who were rich and influential landowning merchants. The palace, especially its walls and courtyards, is covered with stucco work and adorned with frescoes and other colorful decorations. Today, Palazzo Fantuzzi houses the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Bologna and is open for public visitors. The building also houses a theater and hosts music, theater and dance shows. Inside, there are great works of art, including a painting by an obscure Madonna with Child by Jacopo di Andrea di Bartolo and designs by Giacomo Brogiotto, dating back to the 16th-century. Palazzo Fantuzzi is an amazing structure that is definitely worth a visit when in Bologna!
