Palazzo Ducale di Modena, also known as Ducal Palace, was built in the 12th century and rebuilt again in the 16th century. It is located in the city of Modena, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Palazzo Ducale di Modena is one of the largest and most important buildings in the city. It served as the residence of the Este family from 1598 and for the Holy Roman Empire from 1634 until 1859. Palazzo Ducale's collections include a wide range of items from books, metals, pottery, furniture, and many other works from local and foreign dignitaries.
