Palazzo Doria Tursi is the ex-town hall in the heart of Genoa, Italy. It was built between 1257 and 1282, and since 1809 it has been property of the Doria family. The palace is an amazing example of Gothic architecture and contains frescoes, tapestries and many art works. The structure also houses some of the most important collections of weapons and paintings of Genoa, with works by Rubens, Van Dyck and Paul Bril, just to name a few. It is worth a visit, as it is a representative symbol of the city and some of the finest art in Italy. The palace is located close to Piazza De Ferrari and is open daily to visitors.
