Palazzo della Loggia, also known as Palazzo della Ragione, stands on Piazza Garibaldi in the heart of Asolo’s historic center. A former seat of civic government, it connects the town’s public life with its long Venetian history. The arcaded ground floor opens onto the square, while fresco decoration gives the upper façade a distinctly pictorial character. Today it houses Asolo’s Civic Museum, with collections spanning archaeology and art, alongside displays devoted to Caterina Cornaro, the former queen of Cyprus, and actress Eleonora Duse. Viewed from the piazza, the shaded arches contrast with the painted frontage, while the square’s fountain provides a foreground for the wider architectural scene.
