Palazzo dei Consoli is a beautiful 14th-century manor in the centre of Gubbio, a small medieval town in the province of Umbria, Italy. Built in 1325, it is the town's most notable building and one of the best-preserved public palaces of the Middle Ages. Standing tall with its double-corner turret and four stories, it is a sight to behold. The bottom two stories feature stone arcades with mouldings, while the top two have 12th-century Romanesque windows with five archivolt layers and two columns. The interiors are as grand and beautiful as the exterior, with superbly ornamented ceilings, a variety of attractive Gothic doorways, and walls adorned with common frescoes that hold great artistic and historical value. Spend some time admiring the building's architectural beauty and be sure to take in the stunning views of the city from the top!
