The Palazzo Comunale is Montecosaro’s town hall, set on Piazza Trieste in the compact historic center of this hill town in the Marche. Traditionally associated with the town’s former Palazzo dei Priori, it reflects the square’s long-standing civic role and forms part of an ensemble that also includes the Teatro delle Logge and the Collegiate Church of San Lorenzo. The surrounding brick façades, stone paving and close architectural lines give photographs a distinctly central Italian urban texture, while wider views across the piazza place the palace within the intimate scale of Montecosaro’s old center.
