Palazzo Baciocchi is a neoclassical Palazzo located in the centre of Bologna in Italy. It was built between 1814 and 1819 and designed by Pietro Isabelli. It is a huge and grandiose building and is located in Piazza VI Febbraio. Inside, it houses the Biblioteca dell'Istituto Giannina Segalin di Storia del Risorgimento, which is a library specialised in the Italian Risorgimento history. It also houses the Istituto Storico della Resistenza of Bologna. Palazzo Baciocchi is open to the public, with guided tours for individual visitors or groups. The Sala della Musica is decorated with historical Bolognese paintings from the period between 16th and 17th centuries and is the most remarkable room of the Palazzo. Its robust columns and the beautiful terrace overlooking the city are something not to be missed.
