Lying on a cliff overlooking the Meuse River, Palais de Justice (Dinant Court House) is an impressive sight in the charming town of Dinant in Belgium. Built in 1730 from blue limestone, the baroque building contains several wonderful works of art such as statues and paintings in the grand entrance hall. The best way to take in the beautiful architecture and landscape of Dinant is to climb the roughly 400 stairs and view the palace from the Citadel. Alternatively, stroll around the tranquil park gardens that lie between the river and the building and enjoy the incredible views that the Palais de Justice offers of the romantic town, river and surrounding scenery.
