Palacio del Gobernador

The Palacio del Gobernador is located in the ancient city of Uxmal, in the Mexican state of Yucatan. Visiting the Palacio del Gobernador is one of the highlights of a trip to Uxmal, as it is the best-preserved building in the ancient city. Built by the Maya civilization, it is believed to be around 1500 years old.

The Palacio is a three-tiered pyramid, towering over 50 feet high. Its four walls have staircases leading up to the top, from where visitors can enjoy amazing views of the surrounding area.
