Ozero Molodosti, or Lake of Youth, is a man-made recreational lake at the Bukovel mountain resort in Polyanytsya, in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Its beaches and lakeside recreation areas offer a summer counterpart to the ski slopes on the surrounding hills. The contrast between open water, forested ridges and resort buildings defines the scene: this is a deliberately developed leisure landscape, not a remote natural mountain lake. Broad views connect the shoreline with the wooded slopes above, while reflections on calm water bring the mountain backdrop into the foreground.
