Oregon State Capitol

Oregon State Capitol, in Salem, United States, is the state capitol building of Oregon. The granite building stands at 250 feet and serves as an architectural centerpiece in the capital city centered around a public mall. Open to the public, guided tours of the building are offered. The Senate and House of Representatives are open for public viewing. Oregon State Capitol also houses a basement museum with an extensive collection of Oregon artifacts. Inside the Colonial-Revival style building, highlights are the rotunda, stained glass windows, walls of ceramic tile, and three lapidary friezes.
