The Oratorio dello Spirito Santo, also known as the Church of the Holy Spirit, is a 13th century church located in the beautiful city of Bologna, Italy. Established by the Franciscan Friars and completed in 1263, it was the first church to be built in the style of Baroque architecture in Bologna. The beautiful church has a bright and airy interior and two separate entrances; one at the side and one in the main body of the church. Inside visitors will find several works of art, such as Baroque altarpieces, frescoes and sculptures. Highlights include a 14th-century painting of the Last Supper in the left aisle and a crucifix in the right transept that is attributed to Jacopo Della Quercia. The church also houses a vast library, with a collection of over 3,000 books.
