
Opéra de Lille is an opera house located in Lille, France. It was designed by the architect Émile Dubuisson and built between 1899 and 1902. It was officially opened on June 14th, 1902. It is one of the first and most impressive examples of Art Nouveau architecture in France. With its distinctive facade and elaborate ornamentation, the building is a landmark in Lille. The interior of the opera house is equally impressive with its impressive hall decorated with gilding and murals. Currently, the Opera house hosts both national and international musical shows and concerts. Visitors to the opera house can marvel at the impressive architecture, attend a show, or visit the inspirational studio space dedicated to emerging French and international talent.
