
Old Tank WWII is a memorial to the soldiers who fought in the Second World War. Located in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, the monument consists of a recovered Tiger I tank sitting atop a mound of dirt, surrounded by a grass-covered Moat. The monument also includes a plaque dedicated to the three divisions of the current German Army. A walkway leads up to the memorial so visitors can experience the power of the tank up close. The memorial is open 24 hours a day, giving travelers and photographers an unending opportunity to take in the stillness of the site and remember the sacrifices of soldiers past.
