The heritage-filled Old Stone Church is one of the oldest religious buildings in Massachusetts. The church dates to 1739 and was used as a meeting house for members of the Congregationalist church. The building has survived numerous stewards and renovations throughout its long life and continues to be used as a place of worship today.

The original construction boasted a belfry, though that was removed during renovations in the 19th century. It was eventually replaced by a new bell in 1931. Inside, the church is full of interesting artifacts from its long history. There are historical stained glass windows and a hand-carved pump organ from the 1800s, among other unique items. This historical building is open for visitors and offers regular Sunday services. Visitors are welcome to explore the church and its grounds. It's an impressive example of bygone New England architecture and a worthy point of interest for anyone visiting the west part of the state.
