Old Harry Rocks
📍 United Kingdom
Old Harry Rocks is a beautiful coastal rock formation located in Purbeck, England and part of the Jurassic Coast. The rock formation was first described by the writers William Holloway and Mary Anning in the late 19th century. The cliff limestone formations stretch for about 8 miles and at low tide create spectacular wave-cut stacks which can vary from 15m to 30m high. Old Harry Rocks are best viewed from Ballard Down which provides excellent views to and from the Needles in The Isle of Wight. The surrounding coastal path provides breathtaking views and stunning sunsets. The iconic Haven Lighthouse is also visible from the rocks. Whether you're a photographer looking for stunning landscapes, or simply a nature lover seeking a peaceful spot, Old Harry Rocks is a must-visit destination.
