Leading down from the breathtaking vantage points of Oia, the Oia Steps are a steep staircase carved into the volcanic rock, connecting the village’s main promenade with the Old Port of Ammoudi. Surrounded by blue-domed churches and whitewashed buildings, they offer spectacular caldera views. The steps can be slippery in warmer months, so wearing comfortable shoes is recommended. Along the way, you’ll spot cozy cafes, artisan boutiques, and gentle sea breezes. At the base, fresh seafood awaits at waterside tavernas. Capture postcard-worthy photos at every turn. The climb back up is a workout, but the vistas make every step worthwhile.
