Novyy Promenad, or New Promenade, is Svetlogorsk’s modern seafront walkway on the Baltic coast, below the resort town’s steep, wooded bluff. Its broad paved line creates a striking contrast between the engineered shoreline, narrow beach and open sea, while stairways and access structures emphasize the height difference between the waterfront and the town above. Long railings, repeated paving patterns and the uninterrupted horizon lend strong perspective to photographs; changing Baltic weather can shift the scene quickly from muted gray-blue tones to bright reflections across the water. It is also a good vantage point for showing Svetlogorsk’s defining geography: a compact resort set high above an exposed northern shoreline.
