Nobels Fredssenter is the site of the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony each year, located in Oslo's Sentrum district. The Center occupies a compound of several houses, covering a total of 8,000 square meters. It's a peaceful place where history, art and culture are combined, displaying the core of Norwegian values: democracy and human rights. There is an international library with documents, photographs and artifacts regarding humanitarian efforts and peacekeeping achievement, as well as art exhibitions, touring and permanent. The Center offers guided tours and workshops to understand more about the Nobel Peace Prize and its history, suitable for both adults and children. Entrance to the Peace Center is free and financial donations are welcomed.
