📍 United States
Niles Channel Bridge carries the Overseas Highway (U.S. 1) between Ramrod Key and Summerland Key, west of Big Pine Key in Florida’s Lower Keys. It crosses a tidal passage between the islands, making the Keys’ geography visible: narrow strips of land linked across broad stretches of water. The concrete piers and long roadway draw a strong horizontal line above blue-green water, framed by low, mangrove-fringed shorelines. Boats passing through the channel provide a sense of scale against the bridge and the open coastal landscape.
